The assembly of your sailboat is done, by interlocking, without screws or tools, in 15 minutes with two people. An assembly instruction and a video tutorial are available (link). Count 2 hours the first time, then quickly you will take 15 minutes for each assembly. (see on the site). The record to be beaten by the designer of IZIBoat is 8 minutes and 42 seconds.

Your sailboat is designed to be assembled alone, count 25 minutes.

You can sail up to 15 knots of established wind (4 beaufort / 28 km/h) with a maximum of 4 people, for waves that can reach a significant height of up to 0.30 meters, with occasional waves of up to 0.50 meters. You can also adapt the sail area by reducing the genoa (see tuto).

IZIBoat® can accommodate 4 people or 2 adults and 3 children with a maximum onboard weight of 260 kg.

IZIBoat® is intuitively controlled with a joystick. To turn left, you push the bar to the left and to go right, you push the bar to the right.

A child cannot use it alone, its simplicity makes it accessible to all public, children love it and use it easily, accompanied by an adult. Beware, IZIBoat® is a real sailboat, small but powerful.

It is our pride, IZIBoat® is designed for everyone, whatever your physical abilities. A person who can use his arms, but no longer has the use of his legs, can navigate safely. All the controls are within easy reach, you stay in your seat, without changing sides.

Let the rudders drag on the sand, sail fully open and move away from the shore, 40 cm of water is enough for IZIBoat® to start, the rudders will set up by themselves as soon as there is enough water.

You can take oars on board (to be stored in the net behind the seat) or you can mount an electric motor on the chair beam of your IZIBoat®.

It is possible, but this situation is exceptional, out of the 1,600 people who tested and validated IZIBoat®, only 1 desalination and outside the sailing program.
You must respect the safety rules and adapt the sail area to the wind strength and your level.
Up to 15 knots / 28 km/h, with 150 kg of passenger minimum, all sails out (15,4 m²) or furled genoa (8,8 m²)
Beyond this limit, you are out of the program.
The weight of the passengers must be distributed equally on each side.
In case of capsize, release the genoa sheet, IZIBoat® will immediately regain its balance.

– The hulls: The composite, made of fiberglass and polyester resin, provides a solid mechanical structure, a long life and a light weight.
Reinforcements are placed inside the hulls and on each point of interlocking and anchoring.
The entire hull, immersed up to its water line, is covered with corundum. With a hardness of 9 (the diamond is 10), the corundum heel allows to effectively ward off the scratching of sand.
– The chassis: Aluminum is chosen for its excellent weight/mechanical resistance and durability with a remarkable finish and easy to maintain.

Your sailboat is designed for very low maintenance and simplified service.
Your sailboat does not require cleaning, we just recommend rinsing IZIBoat with clean water and drying it before wintering.

You can repair your boat yourself, either with our repair kits or by changing the spare part.
To receive advice, send us pictures of the damage.

We process orders as they come in, with a provisional delivery date of April 2024.

Your sailboat is very carefully assembled in 4 to 5 packages, ready to sail. (Lien image des colis).

  • Packages 1 and 2 – Floats fully equipped, ready to receive the chassis.
  • Package 3 – The frame and steering beam, fully equipped ready to be fitted into the floats. Also your equipment and instructions for use.
  • Package 4 – The sails are rolled up on the mast ready to be erected on the front beam of the chassis.
  • Package 5: Your options if you have ordered them.

Delivery is made anywhere in the world to the address of your choice, regardless of your destination country. Your address must be accessible by a side-loading freight truck. If this is not possible, an appointment will be made as close to your home as possible, with the final travel costs being at your expense.
